Tom Brady has one thing going for him, fairly solid appearances on both “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy.” Both solid episodes. “Shapoopi” has been stuck in my head ever since.
There’s a saying in football, an old saying that dates back to the age of time that states, “I hate the New England Patriots.” Some of you may argue it’s not a real saying and I have arbitrarily made it up for this article and this article alone. To those people I say, “You’re right, but I just don’t care.”
It’s not anything new to hate the New England Patriots. They’ve become a modern dynasty in a free agent world; something thought to be over and done with these days. But the reasons, whether factually glaring us in the face or systematically creeping under our skin whenever we see Tom Brady in an Armani man-juice fragrance ad, are as strong and as vibrant as they were in the 2007-2008 season.
